I'm always looking for students with a strong background in physics, math, and quantitative Earth sciences. If you have a BS degree in one of the above disciplines (or, more generally, in natural, computer, or engineering sciences), and interest in any of these research areas, you may want to consider applying for a Ph.D. program at the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics, University of California San Diego.
